Women’s Health Consultations now available at Beauty Reclaimed Mudgee

New Women’s Health Consultations now available at Beauty Reclaimed Mudgee

We’re excited to share that Beauty Reclaimed is now offering Women’s Health Consultations (including menopause and perimenopause) in collaboration with Fresh Health.

With GP availability limited in Mudgee, many residents have found it difficult to access timely support. That’s why we’ve partnered with Dr. Isabella Sillar, an experienced Medical Practitioner with a focus on Women’s Health, Metabolic Health and Skin Health.

Why This Matters

Hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause don’t just affect reproductive health—they influence weight, mood, energy, sleep, skin, and even ageing.

At Beauty Reclaimed, we know that many of our clients come to us seeking the best from their non-surgical cosmetic treatments—whether that’s skin rejuvenation, biostimulants, or advanced anti-ageing therapies. But here’s the truth:

✨ These treatments can only perform as well as your underlying health allows.

If your hormones are imbalanced, your skin may not heal, regenerate, or respond as effectively. By addressing menopause-related changes through medical care, we help ensure that your skin and body are in the best possible condition to benefit from everything else we offer.

It’s a holistic approach—supporting your inner health so your outer treatments shine.

Understanding Perimenopause & Menopause

Perimenopause (the transition leading up to menopause) can begin years before periods fully stop. During this time, hormone levels—especially oestrogen and progesterone—fluctuate significantly, often causing:

  • Hot flushes and night sweats

  • Sleep disturbances

  • Brain fog and memory issues

  • Mood swings, anxiety, or irritability

  • Weight changes and sugar cravings

  • Joint stiffness and aches

  • Skin changes, dryness, or accelerated ageing

Oestrogen plays a vital role in regulating body temperature, mood, bone density, and skin elasticity. As oestrogen declines, women may experience hot flushes, night sweats, changes in skin texture, and a higher risk of osteoporosis.

Progesterone helps balance mood, improve sleep quality, and regulate cycles. Falling progesterone levels can contribute to anxiety, irritability, and disrupted sleep.

Together, these hormonal shifts can feel overwhelming—but with medical support, they can be managed effectively.
