Hair thinning and hair loss are very common—particularly with age, hormonal changes, or during the peri-menopausal and menopausal years. One of the most frequent causes is androgenetic alopecia (pattern hair loss), which is influenced by hormones and genetics and can affect people of all genders.
While results cannot be guaranteed and responses vary between individuals, there are treatment options available that may help slow hair loss and support regrowth for many people. Our role is to guide you through the available options and support you in finding an approach that is appropriate for you.
This program provides medical hair rejuvenation support through a collaborative model involving experienced clinic nurses and prescribing practitioners from Fresh Health. Treatment plans are tailored to the individual and progress is monitored over time.
What Can I Expect?
Step 1 – Initial Nurse Assessment
Your appointment begins with a consultation with your clinic nurse. We will take a detailed health and hair history, assess the scalp, and discuss your concerns and goals.
Step 2 – Telehealth Referral (if suitable)
If appropriate, you will be referred for a telehealth consultation with a qualified doctor or nurse practitioner through Fresh Health.
Step 3 – Medical Review & Planning
The prescribing practitioner may recommend a personalised treatment plan, request blood tests, or advise on next steps based on your assessment.
Step 4 – Begin Treatment & Ongoing Support
If treatment is prescribed, you will commence your plan and receive ongoing guidance and support from your clinic nurse.
Step 5 – Review at 12 Weeks
You will return to the clinic for a follow-up review to assess progress and determine whether your plan should continue or be adjusted.
